Maeva Mear

Maeva is a mother to two beautiful girls, a birth & postpartum doula with CBI and a certified prenatal/postnatal Yoga teacher (100 hours RPYS  & YACEP Yoga Alliance). She discovered her calling as a birth-keeper through the transformative experience of her own birth into motherhood. Originating from France and nurturing her family far from her homeland, she intimately understands the significance of a support system and the village that holds a new mother.

 

Fascinated by the strength of the pregnant & birthing body, Maeva is passionate about helping women discover the rhythm of their own body and the force that flows through it. She believes that bodywork and embodied movement through yoga, can have a significant impact on labour and birth.

 

Her warm and inviting presence, coupled with her formidable interpersonal skills, has gifted her the ability to forge deep connections with those in her orbit. Maeva believes that within every birthing person, resides an extraordinary strength - an unwavering power to birth, to nurture, and to love.

Olivia Lee
Birth & Postpartum Doula

Olivia is a dedicated mother to two daughters and an aspiring birth & postpartum doula. With over a decade of experience, she seamlessly blends her roles as a caregiver and educator into her passion for empowering women as a doula.

Drawing upon her background as a teacher, Olivia emphasizes the significance of advocacy, patience, and the creation of a positive learning environment. These principles seamlessly transition into her role as a doula, where her fervent dedication to empowering Mothers during their birthing journey takes center stage.

Olivia deeply appreciates the dynamics of labour and birth, recognizing the unique needs of each expectant mother. Certified in optimal maternal positioning, Spinning Babies, VBAC Linked trained, Mamastefit and birth cartography, she is equipped with the knowledge and skills to support women to trust their bodies, ensuring a more comfortable and empowered birthing experience.

Founder of Blooming Births

Chantel's passion for birth work was ignited by her own traumatic birth experience and severe postpartum depression. Forced into a cesarean during labour, she made the courageous decision to switch doctors at the eleventh hour and welcomed her daughter safely into the world (vaginally!). This experience deepened her commitment to protecting couples' birth experiences through education and awareness. 

 

She wears multiple hats and combines her experience as a Mother, women's coach, parent coach, trauma-informed somatic practitioner, Hypnobirthing practitioner bodyworker, massage & womb therapist and shamanic breathwork meditation facilitator into her practice. 

 

Chantel's approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and a deep understanding of the mental, emotional, physical and energetic aspects of the body.

 

She integrates somatic practices and breathwork, connecting with the mind, heart and body. She's passionate about helping couples understand their triggers and support their nervous system, connect more deeply with each other, raise awareness for perinatal mental health, reduce birth trauma, and break generational trauma.

Chantel is a Childbirth Educator, VBAC link trained, certified in Spinning Babies and Optimal Maternal Positioning, HypnoMothering® Fertility Educator, Fertility Coach (APACS)​, Girls Gone Strong Women's Coach and Pre/Postnatal Yoga trained​.

Parnella Rayappan
Ayurveda & Yoga Therapist

Parnella started attending Ayurveda foundation classes purely out of curiosity. Little did she know this ignited a spark within her and she found her purpose. 4 years on,  she is a certified Ayurveda Therapist, Trainer in Foundation studies, Holistic Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher in Training.

 

Ayurveda taught her that every stage of life should be honoured and cared for with the deepest and purest intentions.

It has also taught her that the ebbs and flows in life are meant to nurture adaptability, flexibility, and independence as well as nurturing a holistic relationship with Nature.

 

She is passionate about helping women from all walks of life achieve optimal health. She believes that the secret to a blissful life lies within us and it is her inspiration spread the wisdom of Ayurveda.

Carita Wong
Bodyworker, Life Coach & Yoga Teacher

Carita believes in the power of healing and nurturing touch. Through her bodywork, many of her clients have found healing by reconnecting with themselves, releasing pain, stress, tension and emotional blockages. She’s also supported many women on their pre and post-pregnancy journeys with her loving pregnancy lomilomi massage.

​

Lomilomi is a Hawaiian massage technique that goes beyond simple massage strokes. It embodies the 7 Huna Principles and teaches that physical healing happens when the mental/emotional and spiritual realms are balanced and in harmony.

 

Her interest in the human body and her desire to give her clients the best treatments have led her to study various therapies including Zenthai Shiatsu, Thai Yoga massage, Visionary Cranialsacral, Access Bars, Reiki. She’s also a certified NLP, Hypnotherapy & Life Coach and Yoga teacher (Power Yoga, Yin, Pre and Postnatal).

​

She offers pre and postpartum care massages to women. Carita currently works between Australia and Singapore.

We emphasize the importance of building a strong, healthy relationship with yourself and your partner.

Bodywork

Using movement, touch therapy, massages and modalities from Optimal Maternal Positioning® and Spinning Babies®, we help you prepare your body for childbirth and learn how to navigate roadblocks during labour that may affect labour progression. We believe in using bodywork through yoga and breathing to rehabilitate your strength post birth.
